Frequently asked questions
Glasswork is a specific and nuanced part of construction. Don't see your question? Drop us a line.
The cost of glass walls for offices and homes varies widely depending on several factors, including the size, type of glass, framing system and installation complexity. In general, glass walls are a more premium option than alternatives like drywall and brick, but that doesn't mean they can't work in your budget.
Not sure if you can afford glass walls or other features? Request a free custom estimate.
Glass shower doors and other interior glass features are safe, but only when chosen and installed by a reputable, experienced contractor who picks the correct type of glass and installs it properly.
Tempered glass is a common choice for shower doors and interior glass walls. It's treated to be more durable and resistant to breaking, and if it does break, it's designed to break into smaller pieces with duller edges. High-quality installation and proper maintenance keep everything from shower doors to railings and wine rooms safe.
Glass installation is a nuanced, high-stakes job, especially on large and complex commercial projects, so experience and knowledge are everything. Going with a newer contractor to save a few bucks could cost big in the long run.
Your glass partner should be able to show other projects and customer referrals for jobs like yours, along with strong online reviews, and should stand behind its work with the necessary warranties and guarantees.
The right installation strikes a balance between design and function, and advances in glass and framing have made glass exteriors more secure:
